The heart of the Lifeline series
is the watermax cartridge. Actually five filtering
stages in one, the Watermax offers the maximum in
drinking water single cartridge filtration. Between the
pre- and post-filter stages is a triple core of premium
granulated, activated coconut shell carbon, potassium
charged caption resin, and bacteriostatic KDF redox medium.
These five step cartridges are
designed to reduce chlorine, chloramines, pesticides,
herbicides, and other chemical compounds as well as lead,
mercury, aluminum, and other metals.
The Lifeline
Counter top
is a snap to use. Just unscrew your faucet
strainer and screw on the chromed brass fitting.
Several adapters are included to fit almost any
faucet. Simply place your container under the
faucet attached to the filter and pull the
diverter button when you want filtered water.
The Lifeline
Undercounter
comes with a metal bracket for mounting the
housing under your sink. Water is routed to the
filter by using either the self-piercing saddle-tap
valve or the special "T" for 3/8 stop
valves. A hole drilled in the sink or counter top
mounts the plated brass caucet in the handiest of
locations for lost of use. A person with moderate
tool skills can install this filter in less than
an hour.
The 3-Stage
Lifeline adds
a 10 micron prefilter for particulate removal and
a precarbon cartridge for additional taste, odor
and chemical adsorption. This process expands the
capacity of the 3rd stage Watermax cartridge
substantially. This uses the same very high
quality raw water inlet and filtered water outlet
components as the Lifeline Undercounter system.
4-Stage Reverse
Osmosis was developed
over 40 years ago for industrial uses and for big
seawater desalting plants,the reverse osmosis
process is a large-scale treatment method that
has been scaled down through technology to modify
and improve small volumes of water for home
drinking and cooking purposes. much more than
filtration, reverse osmosis is a molecular
separation method where super tiny water
molecules are forced through pore-like openings
too smallf or almost any other molecule to
squeeze through. Bottled water labeled "purified"
is produced with this method, and many large
companies purify the water that goes into their
food and drink products in the same way. With
ease of use, low mainanance, and low price-per-gallon
cost, reverse osmosis is the way to go! Also,
with a 36 gallon per day capacity and two gallon
pressurized storage tank, you'll want to use
purified water for drinking, cooking, plants,
aquariums, pet water, steam irons, humidifers,
everything!
